AI ad tool pricing, compared

What the main AI ad tools cost, read on each tool’s own website on a dated check: free plans, entry prices, and what one video ad works out to.

Updated

The short answer

Billed monthly, paid plans start at $15 a month on Creatify, $49/month on Upadz and $59 a month on MakeUGC; Arcads publishes no prices. Upadz is the only tool here with a fixed price per finished video ad (50 credits (720p) or 75 credits (1080p)) and with competitor and customer research on its Free plan.

Headline prices hide the two numbers that decide the bill: what one finished ad costs, and which plan the tools you need are on. Creatify and MakeUGC charge credits that vary by model, length and resolution, and Creatify’s research and cloning tools start on its $55 Pro plan.

How we read the prices

Every figure for another tool comes from that tool’s own public website, read on the date shown at the bottom of this page: its pricing page where one exists, otherwise its homepage. We do not use review sites, resellers or old screenshots.

Where a site says nothing, the table says “Not published” or “Not listed” rather than guessing. Where a site says credit use varies, we say so instead of inventing an average.

Prices are for monthly billing. Several tools advertise lower prices for annual billing or run limited-time offers; the guides below give those separately.

Why “credits” make prices hard to compare

Every tool here sells credits, and a credit is a different thing in each one. 500 credits on one tool and 55 on another tell you nothing until you know what a finished ad costs.

Three questions turn a credit price into a real one: how many credits does one finished ad cost, do unused credits carry over, and are the features you need on the entry plan or a higher one. The guides below answer them for each tool.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest AI ad tool with public pricing?

By entry price, Creatify at $15 a month, then Upadz at $49/month and MakeUGC at $59 (billed monthly). But Creatify’s competitor research and Ad Clone start at $55 a month, while Upadz lists research on its Free plan — so for researched ads, Upadz costs less. Arcads does not publish prices.

Which AI ad tools have a free plan?

Upadz and Creatify. Upadz’s Free plan gives 50 one-time credits, enough for 1 finished video ad or 8 static ads, with research included. Creatify’s free plan gives 10 credits a month with watermarked exports. MakeUGC has a $1 trial instead of a free plan, and Arcads mentions a free trial without terms.

How much does one AI video ad cost?

On Upadz, a fixed 50 credits (720p) or 75 credits (1080p) for a finished 18–20-second ad, refunded if the generation fails — about $4.90 at 720p on the Pro plan. Creatify and MakeUGC give no fixed figure because credit use varies by model, length and resolution. Arcads publishes no prices.
